Member MyZone Challenge
Get rewarded for getting fit with your MyZone belt! Start moving and racking up MEPs to help fill up each candy bucket! Each bucket level you reach gives you an entry to a raffle for an 80min massage at the RVC Spa. Everyone who gets 1300 MEPs gets one raffle ticket, an additional ticket at 2000 MEPs, and every 500 points after that (up to 5000 MEPs or 8 raffle entries). ALSO, if you reach 3500 MEPs, you get a free smoothie to Cafe RVC. Compete from Oct 1 – 31.
Session Two of Swim Programs/Lessons
Starting October 14 with options suited for all ages. Swim lessons are a wonderful and safe way to learn to swim while promoting fun and fitness. Free CrossFit Thursdays – EXTENDED THROUGH OCTOBER
Interested in trying out CrossFit? Join our growing community. Every Thursday during the month of October, all CrossFit classes will be open and FREE for anyone to try. Ski Conditioning Program
October 8 – November 12
Every Tuesday, 5:30-6:30pm
$150 for members and non-members.
During this 6-week series, you will increase your strength, help improve your balance, and reduce your risk of injury. Let’s get your knees ready for the ski season with dynamic stretches, Pilates equipment exercises, and PSIA recommended workouts. Takes place in the Pilates Studio. Parents’ Night Out – Superhero Themed to Benefit CHaD
Friday, October 11
Kids Club at RVC
Drop off your children (1 year or older) with our qualified staff and enjoy a night out. Staff will be dressed up as superheroes – dress your kids up for a fun night full of games, crafts, snacks, and pizza! All proceeds from this event go directly to CHaD. If you bring pjs, we will also get your kids ready for bed. Available to RVC members only. Sign up in advance at the Front Desk. $15 per child / $35 for three children.

our kids will gain fitness by properly learning to lift, run, and jump with our Certified Kids CrossFit Coach, all while making new friends and having an awesome time. Our season will culminate with the CrossFit Games Celebration. Kids and parents are welcome to join us in fun games and awards. And by the way, while your kids are in class, you can reclaim your time by working out at RVC (if you’re a member), getting a massage at the RVC Spa, or run some quick errands while your kid is supervised with one of the world’s top CrossFit Kids Coaches. Latin Party Dance Class
October 21 – November 18
Mondays 6:45-7:30pm with Jenny Gelfan

In 5 weeks, you will learn salsa and merengue, a bit of tango, then practice dancing to vibrant Latin music. Recruit your own partner, or singles also welcome. Sign up at the Front Desk.
Functional Blood Chemistry – Blood Testing and Lecture
Tuesday October 22, 5:30-6pm
$25 per member

This is a 30-minute Lecture, with an optional functional blood chemistry testing to follow. Dr. Vreeland will be presenting a short lecture discussing the most common symptoms his patients ask about. Brain fog, muscle and joint pain, weight gain, mood change, insomnia, fatigue, and gastrointestinal complaints are all frequent offenders. These complaints, while common, are often poorly addressed with people being told they are “fine” despite feeling anything but. Dr. Vreeland will walk you through his thought process and discuss the value of functional blood chemistry analysis. Finally, the Vreeland Clinic will be offering attendees limited time promotional pricing on these laboratory tests to be drawn at the RVC immediately following the lecture. Sign up at the Front Desk.
Yoga Teacher Training
October 5 – December 14
Every Saturday & Sunday, 1-4pm. Every Monday 5:30-8:30pm.
Instructed by Sara Grote
Become a certified yoga teacher with the River Valley Club! Deepen your education and knowledge during this comprehensive and practical approach to yoga. Specialize in Vinyasa flow and will cover alignment, adjustments, philosophy, restorative, pre/postnatal Hatha Yoga and an overall understanding of all yoga. Learn more.
Zumba from 4:30-5:15pm on Wednesdays with Jennifer Sargent.
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Takes place in Studio 1.
Hot Yoga from 5-6:30pm on Sundays with Sara Grote.
You will warm right up when you join this yoga class. Come ready to move, as you will integrate mindful breathing, encourage strength, flexibility, and balance. The heat will rise to 85 degrees. Hot Yoga is associated with many benefits, such as improved flexibility, strength, cardiovascular conditioning, increased blood circulation, as well as detoxification and stress reduction. This class replaces Slow Flow Yoga in the same time slot. Takes place in the Yoga Studio.
Spinning from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesdays with Alex Figueroa.
An indoor endurance workout on a stationary bike, training bodies and minds to simulate riding on the road. Instructed by Alex Figueroa. This class replaces the virtual spin class in the same time slot. Takes place in the Spin Studio.
BodyFlow from 7-8pm on Wednesdays with Jennifer Lawrence.
A yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. An inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Instructed by Jennifer Lawrence. Takes place in Studio 1.
