How did you get into fitness?

BODYPUMP was the beginning of a love affair with group exercise. Once I tapped into the buzz you get during a class, I was hooked. I love discovering new moves and pushing myself to go beyond my comfort zone.

What are your goals for your group exercise class participants?
I hope to work with participants to create fitness magic — that moment when the energy and the music and the movement all connect. My goal is to motivate each participant to work to their potential and achieve what they need for their body on that particular day.

Why do you like working at RVC?
I work at RVC for the members and our community. I love catching up with the regulars who come every week, and I love when a person joins for the first time and we get to share that new experience together.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Spare time is few and far between but when it happens, I want to be with my family and outside, no matter what time of year. We’re hiking, swimming, snowshoeing, swinging, walking, climbing — whatever gets us moving!

Are there any other fun facts you’d like to share?

I love ice cream. Full stop. If you have favorite spots in the upper valley and beyond, please share! I’m always up for an adventure if there’s ice cream at the finish.
