Niki Muckenhirn

Year started at RVC

Master’s and Bachelor’s in Health Science – Quinnipiac University
Stott Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor

How did you get into fitness?
I grew up doing competitive cheerleading, dance, and alpine skiing. I started Pilates seriously in college, rediscovered it to get through Covid, and now I get to share it with you!

What are your goals for your group exercise class participants?
I want to provide personally challenging exercises in a joyful environment that leaves participants feeling stronger, more flexible, and happier after every class!

Why do you like working at RVC?
I love working with people striving to be their best. I’ve done that in teaching cheerleading clinics, directing middle school talent shows, being the top high school volunteer at my hometown senior center, and a volunteer coach in Mount Sunapee’s adaptive skiing program.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Alpine skiing, slalom waterskiing, Acro yoga, and cuddling with my white cat Tic Tac!

The best part of your day

‘Can’t’ is no longer in my vocabulary, and I have a sense of pride in my ability to work toward a goal and not only achieve it, but often exceed it.
