How did you get into fitness?
I was a competitive athlete in high school and played Division III Field Hockey and LAX in college. When team training ended, I became an aerobics instructor which became my work-study along with rec swimming as a post-grad exercise science disciple. The rest is history.

What are your goals for your group exercise class participants?
I simply wish to make their time with me the BEST (or at least most memorable) part of their day. And I tell them so every class.

Why do you like working at RVC?
RVC is my home.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I sing! An active member of the Handel Society at Dartmouth, I am a loyal supporter of the Fine Arts. Philanthropy! I serve on the board of directors of a few local organizations striving to do epic things for good in fitness, wellness, and kindness. Competitions! Physical physique shows, triathlons and running races take chunks of time in my “downtime” Beach! Aruba and Nantucket are my second homes when travel is good to go!

Are there any other fun facts you’d like to share?
I have never tasted one sip of coffee and my alarm goes off at 4am every single day. I speak decent Spanish and can count to 5 in most other languages. (It’s a group ex thing). I was in an elite choir in college among 14 voices traveling the country to perform. My 5 must-haves are green tea, running shoes, hair ties, lip gloss and almond butter. My heart is WAY bigger than my attitude.

The best part of your day

‘Can’t’ is no longer in my vocabulary, and I have a sense of pride in my ability to work toward a goal and not only achieve it, but often exceed it.
