How did you get into fitness?
I’m a life-long dancer and my gift is teaching – it’s not a job for me, it’s what I love. Getting certified to teach group exercise combined both my passions of dance and aerobic fitness. I love having fun while improving our health.

What are your goals for your group exercise class participants?
I’m an energetic instructor who is committed to motivating and encouraging my students to reach their fitness goals. I strive to make every class fun and challenging so members look forward to coming again and again.

Why do you like working at RVC?
The purpose at RVC is to improve people’s lives. The staff are passionate about teaching and just fun to be around. It’s a state-of-the-art facility with a very approachable management team that responds immediately and is always positive. Aqua equipment is available and the poolside area is inviting. The many class choices provide great cross-training. The positive energy and laughter the members bring is great. The best part of my day is entering the gym.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I love the outdoors and am passionate about living a healthy active lifestyle. Family fun usually includes an adventure (hiking, biking, skiing, swimming) and great food. Art projects clutter my home, music always, dancing, and good books.

Are there any other fun facts you’d like to share?

‘Can’t’ is no longer in my vocabulary, and I have a sense of pride in my ability to work toward a goal and not only achieve it, but often exceed it.
