“I believe that we were born to move and to move well. I am here to help you reconnect to your body through mindful and intelligent training that can help build confidence and competence in the weight room, on your yoga mat, hiking in the mountains, or playing with your kids. Movement parallels life and I am here to help you live a healthy and fulfilled one.
I have has always considered myself a “free mover”. As a young girl, I loved spending time in nature doing things like climbing trees, foraging for wild berries, swimming, and hiking.
When I was in high school I worked in the daycare at a Gold’s Gym. It was the first time I had been exposed to any form of structured exercise. My mother also worked there and encouraged me to become a personal trainer because of my people skills and desire to help others. In 2006 I became a certified personal trainer and haven’t looked back since.
Over the last 12 years as a fitness professional, I have always sought out the best teachers in their respective disciplines-from kettlebell training to yoga, to natural movement, to deepen my knowledge of the human body and be the most effective teacher possible for my students and clients.
As a mother to a 4-year-old boy and a woman who has been in the fitness industry for so many years I have made it my personal mission to transcend women’s fitness norms and help them discover their individual strength, health, and full potential through mindful movement, compassionate coaching, and sensible nutrition.”
