Stroke and Turn

Stroke and Turn is designed for swimmers that want to refine their strokes and are interested in swimming competitively. In this level, students will:

    • tread water for 5 minutes
    • learn flip turns and open turns
    • work on their endurance of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke and butterfly
    • this lesson is 45 minutes long


Meet Our Swim Instructor

Pam McGuire is a USMS Swim Coach Masters Level III, USA Triathlon Coach Level I / Youth and Junior Specification, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, USAW Level I Olympic Lifting Coach. Pam is WSI, Life Guard, First Aid, and CPR certified by the Red Cross. Pam uses USA swimming philosophies when teaching swim lessons. Pam uses USA swimming philosophies when teaching swim lessons. Sam does her best to ensure that every student is successful and feels comfortable in swim lessons. She enjoys sharing the swim lesson experience with kids in hopes that they will love the water as much as she does. When she isn’t swimming, she is a teacher for first and second grade students.
