Nutrition Consultations Now Available

Enhance Health has partnered with the Club to offer one-hour, personalized consultations focused on healthy nutrition and eating patterns formulated to improve health and assist you with your specific goals. This program is appropriate for anyone looking to optimize their nutrition and make healthy lifelong changes, but is particularly valuable for those who have weight concerns.

Meet Christina Tangredi, APRN

Christina received her education and training as a nurse practitioner from the Yale University School of Nursing having graduated after studying Gerontology as an undergraduate at Quinnipiac University. She is board certified in both Adult and Geriatric Primary Care (2006), and has been practicing for over ten years. As part of her graduate program curriculum, she studied nutrition with expert David L. Katz, M.D., founder and director of Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center and a national leader in Lifestyle Medicine.

She has a deep interest in healthy aging and nutrition and has successfully incorporated nutrition education and the promotion of health into her primary care practice. In addition, she is an experienced practitioner and teacher of yoga (E-RYT 500) and recently completed the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at UMASS Medical School. She is also working towards becoming a Mindful Eating Facilitator along with training through The Institute of Lifestyle Medicine’s CHEF (Culinary Health Education Fundamentals) Coaching Program.

Christina is passionate about caring for people and guiding them to make choices that promote health and well-being. She can help you to integrate a healthy eating pattern into your lifestyle so that it can be sustained over the course of a lifetime. This can be achieved by making small, manageable changes that are flexible and build over time. She will guide you to make better food choices to improve health and well-being without cutting out major food groups or eliminating dessert. Her individualized approach is unique. She recognizes that healthy eating goes beyond nutrition. She will provide guidance on how to look at food quality, quantity, identify triggers, and hunger cues along with mindful eating. She can also provide support in the kitchen through her culinary coaching skills.
