Restorative and Thai Yoga
A two-hour restorative “detox” workshop. Sunday, March 24 from 2-4pm. Hosted by Sonya Carter, assisted by Meg Linn. Restorative yoga seeks to achieve physical, mental, and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. Poses are of being (not doing), of practicing deliberate stillness. During restorative yoga, the nervous system becomes quieter, allowing tension to melt away as you become present to what is happening in the body and mind, moment by moment. This two hour workshop will begin with gentle stretching and movements to warm the muscles, creating space in the body and allowing all of the restlessness and stress of the day to dissolve. Meg Linn will assist and offer gentle Thai Yoga massage adjustments to anyone who would like to experience this technique in addition to the restorative poses. Workshop takes place in Studio 1 – pick up a flyer for details.

Parents’ Night Out
Friday March 8, from 6-8:30pm. With FitKids Staff.
Drop off your children with our qualified staff and enjoy a night out. Light snacks, pizza, crafts, and games provided. If you bring pjs, we will also get your kids ready for bed. Pick up a flyer for details.

Fit & Fab Spring Boot Camp
Join our six-week group training program and participate in a fun and challenging circuit-style class led by Tara Ebejer. Fit & Fab is a fundraiser of events paired with group training. Every year, fabulous tote bags are filled with gifts for women receiving chemotherapy at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center for breast cancer. RVC members and members of the community are invited to donate to this annual event in exchange for group training sessions led by personal trainer, Tara Ebejer. Fit & Fab events will be ongoing through 2019, and you can use a passport to track all the events (and win a prize for attending the associated events!). Pick up a flyer for details.
